PORTLAND / MULTNOMAH COUNTY IS WAY BEHIND IN THE MOVEMENT TO SAVE PETS!

There are now
167 U.S. communities with open admission shelters saving 90% or more of the dogs and cats in their care!

Check out http://outthefrontdoor.com/about-the-blog/ to see a list of those communities in the 90% club.

Many of these communities include multiple cites and towns, making the number of cities and towns that are no-kill around 500.

The Portland area doesn’t even make the “Worth Watching” list of those towns declaring or nearing a 90% save rate!

Call or email your Multnomah County Commissioner to ask why Portland / Multnomah County lags so far behind the rest of the country!
