HOW TO HELP
We object to the needless killing of thousands of dogs and cats by Multnomah County Animal Services.
We object to the spending millions of tax dollars to subsidize it.
As taxpayers and citizens, we will no longer tolerate the failure of Multnomah County Animal Services to carry out its mission.
Multnomah County Animal Services must be replaced with a modern, 21st Century, no kill animal services agency reflective of our community’s progressive, pet-friendly values.
This requires the immediate passage of a no kill resolution and the immediate adoption and implementation of a comprehensive, strategic no kill plan.

Do not accept the excuse that the City of Portland has no stake in MCAS.
80% of property and business tax dollars which provide MCAS funding comes from City of Portland taxpayers.
It’s time for the City of Portland to get involved!
